During scout sessions they will learn grooming, saddling, and riding. The session starts by watching a short helmet safety video, followed by a helmet fitting, and then to the hitching rail to learn some safety around the horses before getting started with the horse interaction. These sessions are available year-round on Saturdays. Those riding must wear long pants and shoes with a heel of at least a 1/2 inch. Helmets must be worn, and are provided by the facility.
